It’s Father’s Day, and Hollywood is showing love to dads everywhere — whether they’re raising the next generation of stars or are famous fathers themselves.

Celebrities took to social media to share touching tributes to their own dads and sweet snapshots with their children, flooding timelines with fatherly love and gratitude.

Oprah Winfrey kicked things off with a moving message about her father, writing, "My father is the root of all my successes -- personal, physical, financial -- because he understood intrinsically that fathering is a verb. It requires action, and acting according to the child you’re raising."

David Beckham marked Father’s Day with a heartfelt tribute to his role as a dad -- including a rare nod to all four of his children, even amid family drama with his son, Brooklyn.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the soccer star shared a touching post celebrating life as a father. "My most important and favorite job in life is being a dad," he wrote. "I’m so proud of all of you. Like daddy -- sorry boys -- tells you every day, I’ll always be here for you no matter what."

David also gave a special shoutout to wife Victoria writing, "Mummy, thank you for the most important part -- making me a father. There’s no greater gift in life."

Dwight Howard and Lance Stephenson’s highly anticipated BIG3 debut took a chaotic turn over the weekend when the former NBA teammates got into a heated scuffle that erupted into the crowd.

The fight broke out during a matchup between the Los Angeles Riot and the Miami 305 on Saturday, after a scuffle near half-court involving Stephenson and another player from the Riot.

Tensions escalated when Howard approached Stephenson courtside and shoved him, setting off a physical altercation that spilled into the stands.

The best friend and roommate of suspected Minnesota gunman Vance Boelter says he received a haunting message from Boelter just hours after Saturday’s shocking shooting spree that left two people dead and two others wounded.

David Carlson told Minnesota news station KARE that around 6 AM Saturday -- shortly after former Democratic state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband were found shot to death, and Sen. John Hoffman and his wife were injured in another shooting -- Boelter sent him and another friend a disturbing farewell text.

"David and Ron, I love you guys. I made some choices, and you guys don’t know anything about this, but I’m going to be gone for a while. May be dead shortly, so I just want to let you know I love you guys both and I wish it hadn’t gone this way," he allegedly wrote.

Chaos broke out at a peaceful protest in Salt Lake City over the weekend when gunfire rang out during a "No Kings" demonstration, sending two people to the hospital and prompting a swift police response that led to three arrests.

According to Salt Lake City Police, officers heard shots Saturday night where a massive crowd of protesters had gathered. One person was critically injured in the shooting and rushed to a nearby hospital.

The suspected gunman, who had reportedly been walking with the crowd before the violence erupted, also sustained a gunshot wound and was taken into custody after officers tracked him down. He remains hospitalized.
